A quote-first website for a Los Angeles event rental company, built to turn a 530-piece catalog into quote requests.
Overview
Palace Party Rental serves weddings, private events and production teams across Los Angeles. The inventory was strong, but the website was a mess: 530 products in confusing buckets, nearly all without a real description, and a store checkout for a business that quotes every event. The new site is a catalog built around one action: request a quote.
Highlights
- Fix the catalog first. Every product was re-sorted, and traits like color and finish became filters instead of menu branches.
- Name things the way customers do. Seating became Chairs, Lounge Furniture and Bar Stools. Other Product retired.
- Quote first, everywhere. Prices, carts and checkout came out. Every product page ends in Request Quote, with the product attached.
- Every page has one job. Categories handle browsing, product pages handle the specifics, and the blog handles planning ideas without competing with either.
Design and Build
Warm neutrals, champagne accents and an expressive serif: premium, without the ornate wedding-site look that makes a big catalog hard to scan. It stays on WordPress, so Palace keeps managing products where they already work.
Process
Designed and built solo, from the catalog strategy to the migration, with the product copy rewritten in reviewed batches. Launched July 2026.
