A brand-led website for a New Jersey youth soccer club, built to turn local visibility into trial and clinic sign-ups.
Overview
PDA Sporting Club Premier trains players ages 3 to 18 across Sussex and Warren County, New Jersey, from intro clinics through competitive travel teams. TAG Online rebuilt the club’s web presence around one goal: make it easy for a parent to find the club, pick the right program, and register. I led creative direction and owned the UX/UI design. The TAG team handled the build.
The Challenge
The club’s most common piece of feedback said it all: “we never knew you were here.” A strong program with its own facilities was invisible to the families looking for it. The old site also skipped the three questions every parent asks first: what league do you play in, what tournaments do you attend, and what does it cost. Fix the visibility problem, then turn first-time visitors into registrations.
Approach
- Brand built from the new logo. A bold, athletic identity with a condensed display face and clean body type, used consistently everywhere.
- Registration first. The main action is never more than a tap away, and a “Register for what’s happening now” section surfaces whatever trials, clinics and programs are open this week.
- Answer the real questions. Leagues named plainly and up front (ECNL RL, NPL, MAPL, EDP), with placement guidance for finding the right fit.
- Proof over claims. College commits, family testimonials and the club’s own facilities do the convincing.
- Found, not just seen. Local SEO for Sussex and Warren County lines the site up with the exact terms families search.
- Social proof in motion. A live Instagram feed keeps the homepage current.
Design and Build
A full-bleed match-action hero video and professional photography, paired with a confident, sporty type system. It runs on WordPress with Elementor so the club can keep tryouts, camps and events current without a developer, tuned with caching and a CDN for the phones most parents browse from, built mobile-first.
Outcome
Live at pdascp.com. A first impression that matches the quality of the program, and a clear path from “we never knew you were here” to a completed registration.
